ADAM ELSBERRY
about adam
I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a child of the '80s and '90s, I was largely influenced by the huge wave of nostalgia for iconography and pop culture on television and in film at that time. As a member of the queer community, I also have a deep love for queer art and its influence on mainstream media.
A major passion for theater led me to move to NYC in the early 2000s hoping to find a career performing in musical theater, but I always found myself wanting to be more involved in the creation and collaboration process. This ultimately led to returning to school and attending Parsons School of Design where I studied Graphic and Digital Design. I currently work at Serino Coyne, a NYC ad agency, as a print production designer, focusing primarily in Broadway and off-Broadway design in print and digital layout.
I always strive to find the heart, humor and camp — when appropriate — in every project I do, and I love a deep dive into the history and origin of a particular style. Understanding what makes something great is just as important to me as getting it right.
